Job Description

The Quality Technician (QAT) is responsible for carrying out testing and inspection activities, to perform incoming / outgoing inspection, in-process testing and quality inspection of products.
Essential Job Functions:
To perform testing of manufactured products
To perform receiving inspection and/or testing of raw materials
To perform final inspection of outgoing products
To perform label inspection and/or order review
To perform visual inspection of packed products
To maintain the quality database (including entering and archiving of quality records)
To maintain and upkeep testing equipment and work station (laboratory)
To perform miscellaneous tests for quality engineering experiments
To perform any other duties & responsibilities which the Management / Superior may assign from time to time
Candidates must possess at least Secondary education and is good in spoken & written communication skills
At least 1 year of working experience in laboratory, manufacturing or chemical processing plant preferred
Able to understand & interpret numerical results and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
A team player as well as able to work independently with minimal supervision
Able to perform under pressure and has a positive working attitude and strong work ethics
Able to work Night Shift and overtime (when required); working hours are Mon to Thur : 7 pm - 3.30 am & Fri : 6 pm - 2.30 am
Able to start work immediately
