Quantity Surveyor

to join a leading company in the

Building & Construction

industry. This permanent position is located in

Sembawang

, offering a full-time work schedule from

Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM

What You'll Be Doing

Prepare commercial documents, including procurement schedules, cash flow forecasts, and margin plans. Handle enquiries for assigned packages and manage any clarifications. Analyze subcontractor and supplier tenders, and create detailed comparisons. Highlight any risks or discrepancies in tender documents to the lead estimator. Verify and prepare quantity take-offs and BOQs according to client specifications and drawings. Collaborate with the estimating team to align strategies with management objectives. Manage change processes, including measuring and valuing variations, pricing RFPs, and issuing contractual notices promptly. Support monthly commercial reporting for both internal teams and clients. Monitor costs and margins, suggesting improvements where necessary. Oversee the main contract and subcontracts, ensuring full compliance. Prepare interim and external valuations as required. Maintain accurate commercial records, including drawing and register control. Assist in finalizing accounts with clients and subcontractors within agreed timelines and standards. Contribute to close-out activities and manage retention releases after defect rectification. Perform additional duties as directed by management and supervisors.

What We're Looking For

A

Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management

, or a related field. Proven experience in

tender preparation

and

project management

. Strong familiarity with

construction documentation

and

ISO standards

. 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
