The Opportunity
- Permanent role with a growing Singapore-based general building contractor
- Work location: Serangoon Central Drive
- Salary up to $6000
They are currently looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional experienced in cost estimation, tender submissions, contract management, and project budgeting. The Job
- Prepare budget estimates, perform cost checking, and prepare tender submissions
- Review drawings and specifications to define scope and costing structures
- Handle submission works, contractual requirements, and variation orders (VO)
- Manage progress claims, progress payments, and finalize project accounts
- Carry out quantity take-offs for both tendering and ongoing projects
- Evaluate price comparisons and prepare costing summaries
- Monitor actual construction progress vs contract quantities to control costs
- Attend site meetings with clients, consultants, and vendors
- Possess at least a Diploma/Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, or Postgraduate qualification
- Educational background in Building Construction or Civil Engineering
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the Singapore construction industry with main contractors or builders
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
