Job Description

1. Quantity Surveying Responsibility

#

a.Cost Management & Estimating

Prepare cost estimates and budgets for Civil and M&E works (Hivac, Exhaust, Chemical, Electrical, plumbing, fire protection, etc.). Evaluate and analyze project specifications, drawings, and BOQs.

b.

Tendering , Valuations and Payment

Prepare measurement and bills of quantities for all relevant works using AutoCAD. Prepare interim payment claims and final accounts for submission to clients or main contractors. Evaluate subcontractor claims and prepare payment recommendations.

2. Drafting & Technical Responsibilities:

Drafting & Drawings

Prepare draft and detailed Piping and M&E shop drawings, as-built drawings, standard detailed drawing, layout and schematic based on preliminary concepts, sketches using AutoCAD, Revit, or other drafting tools. Produce detailed technical drawings for PCW , Exhaust, Chemical and Gas piping project using CAD Software and BIM Modeler. Update drawings based on site conditions, design changes, and coordination inputs. Review and verify the accuracy and consistency of drafts and design documents.

Coordination Drawings

Produce coordination drawings integrating Piping and M&E services with architectural and structural elements. Produce layout and schematic based on preliminary concepts, sketches, calculation, specification sheets abd other data. Liaise with other disciplines (Client, Consultants, Techinical Team) to resolve clashes and ensure buildability.

Site Support

Assist in the preparation of builder's work drawings and installation details. Support site team with technical drawings and documentation during construction. Attend site coordination meetings when required. Co-ordinate with project team and client to ensure that drawings meet all required specification. * Help in project scheduling by ensuring that drafts and drawings are completed on time and within the scope of the project.
