QUANTITY SURVEYOR CUM PROJECT CO-ORDINATOR (Interior Design & Renovation Field)
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Services or equivalent
Good Interpersonal/Communication Skill/Team Player
Good knowledge and experience in tendering commercial/industrial/retail interior fitting out projects.
Min 4 years experiences in interior design/renovation /building industry.
Independent & self-motivated.
At least 4 year(s) of working experience in the related field
Responsibilities:
Good knowledge and experience in tendering commercial/industrial/retail interior fitting out projects.
Measurement of quantities, progress claims, quotations and final claims.
General quantity surveying duties such as pre/post contract duties, taking off quantities, cost control, variations, finalization of cost and tender administrative duties.
Able to understand tender requirements, prepare and submit tenders as per requirements with specific deadline
Attend site show round as per tender invitation letter.
Liaison with client, sub-contractors & suppliers
Monitor work progress on-site
Prepare for tender Pre-Qualification & tender presentation slides.
Produce quantity take off with targeted time.
Invite supplier & sub-contractor to participate the tender.
To prepare for Form of Tender submission.

Plan and prepare schedule
To attend tender interview and follow up closely with main-contractor and client's
To check participated tender project's awarding status via Gebiz & Sesami, Tenderboard, Ariba and etc.
Coordinate the project work to ensure successful completion as well as hand over to the Clients.
Maintain all the documentation for the projects.
Coordinate and work with other departments as well as to supervise the project works.
Coordinate with irrigation department for tender specification
Handover all pre-tender documents and drawings to operation department.
Negotiate pricing with sub-contractor for quotation & variation orders
Preparing and analyzing costing for tenders
Oversee and ensure compliance with standards
Allocate work to contractors and subcontractors to facilitate the smooth workflow process.
Attend meeting with main-contractor & sub-contractor when dispute incur
Preparation of construction cost estimates
Preparation and pricing of bills of quantities for tender and value engineering thereof
Attending site meetings and inspections
Advising clients/consultants on cost implications of arising variations
Carrying out site re-measurements
Carrying out interim valuations of works
Preparing of final account and agreeing with all parties
Assessing contractor's claims
Site visits, assessments and projections for up-coming work;
Measure and value the work done on site;
Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers;
