Quantity Surveyor (lead) ($3500 $4500/aws/vb)

Job Description
$4500 + AWS + VB + allowance
5 working days, Mon - Fri, normal office hours
Location: North
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance, support, and mentorship
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for construction projects, including material, labor, and equipment costs
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and value engineering exercises to optimize project budgets
- Review and negotiate contracts, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and project specifications
- Monitor and control project costs throughout the construction process, identifying potential cost overruns and implementing corrective actions
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and architects to assess project requirements and develop cost-effective solutions
- Prepare and present regular progress reports and financial updates to senior management and stakeholders
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, verify quantities, and resolve any quantity-related issues
- Bachelors degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in using quantity surveying software and tools is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
