Job Description

Responsibilities:

Perform detailed quantity take-offs from drawings and technical specifications to prepare accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) in line with tender requirements. Plan and manage tender timelines, including handling extensions where applicable. Evaluate, compare, and negotiate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers. Prepare cost estimates for ELV, BMS, and related scopes, ensuring alignment with project specifications and deadlines. Liaise with internal project/technical teams and external vendors/subcontractors to ensure proposed solutions meet technical and compliance standards. Prepare tender submissions and contract documents, including Bills of Quantities (BQ), datasheets, and technical proposals for ELV and/or BMS systems. Support the sales team in tender preparation and submission. Conduct cost analysis and value engineering to optimize designs and construction methods for cost-effectiveness. Maintain and develop relationships with solution vendors. Ensure all work complies with local regulations, codes of practice, and industry standards. Assist in updating marketing materials, including website content.

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline with minimum 3 years of relevant QS experience in Electrical & ELV systems. Familiar with Singapore's construction and M&E industry practices, including tender portals such as GeBIZ. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), AutoCAD, and quantity take-off software. Strong knowledge of tendering processes, cost management, and contract administration. Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tenders simultaneously.
