Our client is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join their team in dynamic construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage cost estimates, tender documents, and bills of quantities based on drawings and specifications.
Evaluate and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations, performing detailed cost analysis.
Oversee project budgets, track variations, and provide regular cost updates to management.
Handle progress claims, interim payments, and final accounts for subcontractors and suppliers.
Negotiate contract terms, claims, and variations with stakeholders.
Collaborate with project teams, and clients on cost-related issues.
Ensure compliance with company policies and project requirements in procurement and cost control.
Assist with contract administration, including documentation, correspondence, and record-keeping.
Support the preparation and submission of tenders, including post-tender clarifications and presentations.
Any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Requirements:
At least Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Building, or Construction Management, or related fields.
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction industry (civil, structural, or architectural works)
Familiarity with local construction contracts (e.g., SIA, PSSCOC, FIDIC) and procurement practices.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Work Schedule
5.5 days' work week.
