Job Description
Responsibilities
Participate in projects from inception to completion and responsible for pre-contract and post contract administration. Preparation of preliminary cost plans and budgetary cost estimates. Propose procurement strategy, preparation of tender documents, tender evaluation and award recommendation. Post contract administration including preparation of periodic cost reports, valuation of progress claims, review and assess variation claims and finalisation of project accounts. To work closely with the Consultant Team providing cost and financial advice as well as contractual support and advice.
Requirements
Degree in Building / Quantity Surveying preferably recognised by BCA. Relevant working experience in the local construction industry. Min. 3 years working experience in quantity surveying capacity. Candidates with lesser years of relevant experience can be considered for junior position. Possess technical background with sound knowledge of pre and post-contract duties. Good working knowledge of SIA and PSSCOC forms/conditions of contract. Good working knowledge of standard forms of measurement, CEMS, SMM or equivalent. Membership with SISV, RICS or/and AIQS is preferred. Able to work independently and be a good team player as well. * Possess excellent people skills with the ability to integrate within a multi-disciplinary team and communicate with external Clients and Consultants.
