Responsibilities and duties

Cost estimation:

Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, and equipment during the design and tendering phases.

Budget management:

Develop, manage, and track project budgets, making adjustments for any design or scope changes.

Contract administration:

Prepare tender documents, negotiate contracts, and manage payments to contractors and subcontractors.

Financial monitoring:

Track project finances, monitor costs, and prepare financial reports and payment accounts.

Project oversight:

Visit construction sites to assess progress, ensure work is done according to budget, and verify quality and legal standards are being met.

Risk and dispute resolution:

Advise on commercial risks and help resolve financial and contractual disputes between project parties.

Liaising:

Work closely with and communicate between all project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers.
