Job Description

We are a signage company with a strong focus on providing high-quality and innovative signage solutions to our clients. As our quantity surveyor, you are responsible for work scoping, cost calculations and quotation sourcing for the preparation of price schedule and other relevant documents for tenders and quotations

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough analysis and evaluation of tender documents and prepare detailed cost estimates
• Liaise with client representatives, consultants, architects, and stakeholders to gather necessary project information and ensure that all client requirements are met
• Prepare accurate and detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for tender submission
• Participate in tender negotiations, preparing pre-tender and post-tender documentation
• Manage and coordinate tender submissions and teams, ensuring deadlines are met
• Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, main contractors, and suppliers
• Evaluate and recommend subcontractor and supplier costing to ensure the best value for the project
• Coordinate with project managers to ensure accurate handover of tender documents

• Bachelor\'s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
• At least 2 years\' experience working as a quantity surveyor, preferably in the construction, interior fit-out industry
• Extensive experience with tender submissions and costing within the construction industry
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, contract types, and pricing mechanisms
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Strong negotiation and communication skills to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
• Proficient in computer software such as Microsoft Office, Excel
