Merchant Solutions is a new division within the Corporate Bank. We combine the best of traditional bank treasury solutions with global payment service provider capabilities. Deutsche Bank offers a full spectrum of integrated payment solutions around payment acceptance and payment issuing, marketplace, FX and financing. Our products range from card acceptance and alternative payment methods, to the card issuance and wallets, as well as integrated FX and lending workflow solutions for eCommerce and POS.

The Client Solution team within Merchant Solutions is responsible for driving our go-to-market, for integrating new and maintain existing partners, and in providing customised workflow solutions to our clients.

Your key responsibilities:
  • Be the face of Merchant Solutions to the market and client by continuously engaging with our sales teams, thus fostering relevant client dialogue
  • Monitor leads, pursuits and execution statuses and be first point of escalation when timelines are not being met
  • Advise internal and external teams as a product expert for merchant solutions
  • Work on cross-product solutioning with other teams to meet client needs
  • Assist in connecting and creating successful sales partnerships with external partners
  • Position Merchant Solutions within Deutsche Bank to ensure support leading to a lasting success (continuously educate front office, establish collaboration model with risk management and controlling teams etc.).
  • Ensure, in all aspects of the sales and delivery cycle, that there is compliance with regulators, bank policies, and support resolution of issues that require coordination of multiple disciplines in the organization (e.g. KYC process).
Your skills and experience:
  • Working experience in client and/or partner-facing roles is critical, thus, being able to drive strategy execution and solution positioning with partners and/or clients:
  • 2 years in a management consulting role for BFS or;
  • 2 years in a corporate sales role within BFS or;
  • 3 years in an IT process consulting or pre-sales role for BFS
  • Has worked on products or projects in:
  • fintechs and merchant solutions or;
  • eCommerce and/or;
  • account receivable processes
  • Broad understanding of the regulatory landscape in which a bank or a financial services organization operates
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Computer Science, Information Systems or similar courses
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (PowerPoint, word, excel) with ability to prepare impactful presentations for clients
  • Ability to handle the day to day \xe2\x80\x98hands-on\xe2\x80\x99 management of tasks, resolve problems and issues, and implement action plans to meet objectives
  • Strong business acumen paired with analytical skill; identifying new business opportunities and \xe2\x80\x9cinjecting\xe2\x80\x9d entrepreneurial ideas
  • Excellent analytical skills, with high attention to detail
  • Commitment to strong teamwork and a collaborative environment
  • Motivated self-starter and a quick learner, ready to take on responsibilities and confident to manage projects; able to manage tasks independently, expand knowledge into different areas and combine analytical work with the ability to drive projects on your own
Role is required to be performed on-site at One Raffles Quay office. Relevant vaccination requirements may apply.
