RAMS Engineer

Job Purpose

The RAMS Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and maintainability of systems and equipment. He/She shall work closely with project teams to develop and implement reliability, availability, and maintainability (RAM) plans to ensure the long-term success and sustainability of projects.

Responsibilities

Reliability Analysis: Conduct reliability, availability, and maintainability analyses, including Failure Modes, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA). Sustainability Analysis: Perform sustainability analyses to ensure systems are designed for ease of maintenance and support. Maintenance Planning: Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure systems remain operational and efficient. Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including maintenance manuals, technical publications, and logistics information repositories. Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality and procurement teams to ensure cost effective, timely solutions and seamless integration of RAM activities. Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and implement corrective actions to address any issues. Customer Support: Provide support for training to customers and end-users. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications & Work Experience

Degree in Engineering, Computing or related technical field from a recognized institution. Preferably with at least 3 years of working experience Good understanding of Weibull Analysis and/or other statistical methodologies

Skills

Knowledge in Engineering, Data Science, Statistical Analysis or equivalent Able to understand mechanical, electrical and electronics designs to work out maintenance tasks requirements with engineers High proficiency in MS Office Suite Good interpersonal and communication skills. Able to present ideas, approaches, and objectives clearly. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. Able to work independently and as a team effectively adjusting oneself flexibly to different work situations. * Effective organizational and planning skills.
