JOB SUMMARY

Venture R&D team works with many customers who are leaders in their fields. In the field of Life Science, we are expanding our R&D team members to work on advanced instrumentation development that allows scientists and researchers to gain a better knowledge of how human cells function, right down to the DNA of the genome. At the same time, this body of knowledge allows us to come up with many tools to detect various pathogens (including Covid-19) and finding the preventive measures. Our R&D engineers are being challenged to develop new technologies and new solutions to address some of the technical issues faced by customers.

You will be responsible for the development and delivery of a wide range of state-of-the-art products for the global markets, from conceptualization to mass production and eventually seeing the products in the market.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES / AUTHORIZATION LEVEL
\xc2\xb7 Responsible for design, development, testing and debugging of embedded firmware/software of state-of-the-art products

\xc2\xb7 Design and code robust firmware/software modules to interface/integrate in a complex system.

\xc2\xb7 Generate and maintain design and test documentation.

\xc2\xb7 Innovate or develop new/alternative tools to enhance reliability and productivity

\xc2\xb7 Support development and verification of firmware/software design as per the software life cycle process to meet process and audit requirement.

\xc2\xb7 Assist the EE team Engineering verification testing activities.

\xc2\xb7 Lead and participate in various technical discussion, brainstorming session and design reviews.

\xc2\xb7 Interface with customers where applicable.

\xc2\xb7 To be the firmware project lead on programs if the opportunity arises.

\xc2\xb7 Lead project discussions and code reviews.

\xc2\xb7 Perform any other duties as assigned by the Company.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
\xc2\xb7 Masters/Degree in Electronics/Electrical/Computer Engineering.

\xc2\xb7 Experience in product development.

\xc2\xb7 Fresh graduate with relevant knowledge/project experience are welcomed to apply

\xc2\xb7 Familiar with firmware/software development tools, methodology and development lifecycle.

\xc2\xb7 Proficiency in C, C++ and Python programming languages

\xc2\xb7 Good understanding of computer architecture and operating systems concepts

\xc2\xb7 Experience or familiarity with ML tools and concepts is a plus

\xc2\xb7 Hands-on development/debugging/project experience is a plus
