Summary Role:
Maxeon is seeking a world-class PV Module Development/Material Testing Intern based in Singapore. It is expected that most of this work will be carried out at a new state-of-the-art Maxeon RD&D Laboratory to be created in Singapore. J ob responsibilities include research and development of new solar technology that pushes the limit of efficiency at lower cost, working closely with Maxeon\xe2\x80\x99s renowned US based R&D team, and supporting existing teams in deploying and optimizing solar technology at Maxeon\xe2\x80\x99s factories. This work is expected to include both cell and module technology development for Maxeon\xe2\x80\x99s advanced product portfolio. The goal of these activities is to support Maxeon\xe2\x80\x99s business objectives, including market expansion, with targeted advanced technology .

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work closely with global RD&D team in creating DOE for specific projects under guidance
Involve in material preparation as well as sample/prototype fabrication
Propose/explore new testing and analysis that\xe2\x80\x99s relevant to solar application
Assist testing platform setup and documenting related SOP
Ideas contributor for testing design and results postprocessing
Cross-team support on testing needs in other projects

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Material science/chemical engineering background is recommended
Familiar with the material testing and analysis
Team spirit owner, willing to learn and share
Problem-solving mindset, ideas contributor
Good communication and documentation skills
Solar energy related knowledge and experience are value added
