  • Establish and build competence in analytical techniques (Chemico-Physical & Microbiological Properties), investigate new technologies developed internal and external to Nestle
  • Apply experimental knowledge, skills and experience to support product innovation and renovation teams from inception through industrialization
  • Support teams analytically in break-through products and ensuring food safety, regulatory compliance, on time launch and within cost limits
  • Support laboratory based scientific investigation performing routine tasks and experiments
  • Ensure adherence to Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and maintain a safe working environment
  • Performs routine analysis, analyze data, records and maintains related documentations
  • Maintain / creates internal methods / SOPs used in R&D Singapore and assure that they are compliant with any LI updates.
  • Share experience or surprising results with project managers and assist project managers to interpret the data.
  • Manages sample outsourcing and logistics
  • Conduct and ensure timely calibration and maintenance of lab equipment according to the Internal Control Plan (ICP)
  • Support on inventory supplies of chemicals, consumables and its documentation ensuring timely replenishments.
  • Provide accurate and on-time support to operation with effective (quality, cost and on-time) and sustainable solutions.
  • Give high quality support to R&D portfolio and assure accurate and reliable results.
  • Basic understanding of Scientific, Technology, Quality and Safety and Environment knowledge.
  • Actively support and coach students and or new staff to understand analytical procedures in R&D.
  • Understand compliance strategies in practice. Learn through experience, mentoring and training.
What will make you successful
  • Bachelors\' Degree in the related scientific field or Diploma with experience in related fields
  • Minimum 3 years of microbiology and chemistry laboratory experience
  • Good knowledge of quality, safety and hygiene requirements
  • Good level of experience in lab environment
  • Proven competence in operating lab equipment
  • Good knowledge of GLP
