Product Developer - Specialized Nutrition - APAC-

A multinational company which is based in Singapore is currently hiring for a Product Developer within the infant milk powder category who is responsible for the following functions;

Develop tools and processes that help to drive value in contracting, conversion, and revenue generation

Support Category Development Managers with:

Ad hoc analysis, market trends, marketing/communication opportunities and opportunity analysis

Development of category plans, joint business plans and presentations for key strategic meetings

Communication and implementation of program updates adhering to the company\'s processes and timelines

Budget forecasting and tracking of revenue against plan - conduct income analysis, make forecast changes or perform any other duties supporting category income drivers

Tracking of raw materials and market/industry data for use in negotiations and presentations

Proactively identify opportunities and make recommendations as they relate to contract coverage, conversion opportunities, pricing/VA and new programs

Various special projects as assigned by manager

Qualifications and Skills Required

Master of Science degree in Food Technology/Food Science, Food Engineer, Chemical engineering or any other Food Science related Master of Science degree.

Knowledge of food science principles and product development principles

Knowledge of dairy unit operations, alternatively flavors industry sector

4-5 years of experience in food/pharmaceutical/dairy manufacturing industry in R&D, QA or production function with experience in product development, particularly in product formulations.

Experience in process development is an advantage

Experience in technical assessment of process conditions is an advantage

Experience in handling multiple projects at one time

Fluency in English, both written and verbal.

Can work with people and in teams in different levels and function of the organization across different cultures

Attention to accuracy and detail with good analytical, organizational skills and follow through.

Demonstrated ability to work independently, take responsibility with good sense of self-motivation.

Keen to have a broad cross functional experience rather than a corporate career.
