Job Title: R&D Mechanical Engineer, Senior to Advisor

Job location: Tuas Link (Transporation provided)

Working Hours: 5 Days, 7.30am-4.30pm

As R&D Mechanical Engineer, the goal is to collaborate and deliver engineered drilling solutions and reservoir insight to maximize asset value.

Job Overview and Responsibilities

• Act as Technical lead in analysis, modification and design of downhole tools
• Define input requirements and deliverables of internal and external customer
• Guide execution of development and verification/validation plans to ensure requirements are met
• Collaborate with other disciplines and support functions to ensure smooth delivery of solutions and create impactful relationship
• Use and guide others on engineering tools (CAD, FEA, CFD) to model, evaluate and deliver innovative solutions
• Incorporate Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process
• Contribute to Company\'s Intellectual Property portfolio by delivering innovative and commercially successful solutions
• Experience working with integration of mechanical, instrumentation, hydraulic or sensor subsystems preferred
• Experience selecting materials for vibration, erosion, corrosion, fatigue and other failure modes preferred
• Expertise in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) preferred
• Experience with CAD and CAE software (Solidworks and Ansys preferred)

• Candidates should have degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, along with at least 5 years of experience.
• Minimum educational requirement of a doctoral degree and zero years\' experience or a master\'s degree and two or more years\' related experience or a bachelor\'s degree and four or more years\' related experience
