Job Description
Our client is a Manufacturing MNC, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer to be part of their R&D Mechanical team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the West \xe2\x80\x93 easily accessible. This Senior R&D Mechanical Engineer would be responsible for:
- Identify project requirements or functionality part
- Responsible for designing components and assemblies according to design standards and perform design/safety calculations
- Working closely with simulations team to model the tool performance
- Responsible for design reviews at the different stages of the project
- Collaborate with Project Manager to source all components
- Liaise with Testing department to assemble, validate through high-pressure, high-temperature testing, disassemble and inspect the equipment
- Mentor junior team members
- Minimum Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- 5 - 10 years R&D experience in Oil & Gas / Offshore industries
