MAIN PURPOSE The Real Estate team provides leasing advisory services to the Group\xe2\x80\x99s Maisons to identify, negotiate and secure retail units for the Group. The Real Estate Assistant Manager, based in Singapore, will report to Real Estate Associate Director, Southeast Asia and support him in all activities related to the real estate function. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the Associate Director in the search and acquisition of new opportunities for stores, office, and warehouse, as needed from time to time, by managing all communication internally and externally, as required.
To track ongoing and future developments by preparing and updating existing reports on a timely manner with accuracy and precision on the data.
To manage the agenda and arrange all meetings and meeting notes with the various landlord of the region.
To be responsible for updating of the SEA Deck that is the basis of all projects and discussions for the group in the region.
To help arrange and manage all travel activities of the Associate Director as required.
To facilitate and manage all the admin work relating to the preparation, evaluation of all the lease documentation, until signatures are made.
To coordinate and prepare reports as required from time to time, but not limited to: Specific reports on market situation, Lease dashboard data, Activity reports of maisons, Productivity, Shopping Center and Department Store Studies, Distribution Overview, Main Competitors analysis
To establish, maintain and update a comprehensive leasing database and information library of all existing locations operational data within the scope, as well as building up market knowledge of comparable transactions and pipeline developments.
To keep track of all competitor movements in the region.
To review lease contracts and provide feedback to the landlords as directed by the AD and legal counterpart
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate must have excellent communication skills both written and verbal communication to manage various stakeholders.
University degree in real estate, business, or other related disciplines is a plus.
Minimum of 1-year property experience in a similar position with other retailers and/or real estate brokerage firms, is a plus.
Good analytical and organizationa skills
