Job Description


The receptionist provides administrative and clerical support to office. As the receptionist is the initial point of contact for all those who visit the office, it is crucial that this person exhibits professionalism and a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Takes ownership of the reception service, including events related responsibilities and organization, liaising with Event Hosts pre, during and post Event as single (local) point of contact.
  • Greet and process guests entering organization and notifies host upon guest arrival.
  • Provides excellent customer service to clients.
  • Deals with queries from the public, customers/visitors and employees.
  • Ensures project knowledge across the Reception team.
  • Provides general administrative and clerical support.
  • Provides support and coverage for team and/or special events, including badging.
  • Manages high volume lobby while simultaneously keeping reception area organized.
  • Arrange for ground transportation as needed.
  • Receives and routes delivered items in line with our client\'s policy and procedure.
  • Managing visitor and vendor signing in process, including NDA process.
  • Provides coverage for other receptionists for lunch and/or PTO.
  • Additional projects and duties as assigned.
  • Interact with all levels of client\'s management, personnel and customers.
  • Provide access control badges and administer individual authorized access as needed in accordance with policy and procedure.
  • Oversee housekeeping of Reception.
Technical Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in heavy volume customer service.
  • Prior Security Industry experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills, specially in MS Office Suite and Web.
Personal & Interpersonal Qualifications:
  • Maintains a clean and professional appearance.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Possesses a positive attitude, even in difficult situations.
  • Proficient in working within a team environment and independently.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and customer service skills. Ability to prioritize multiple assignments.
  • Is self-directed and possesses a takes-initiative approach.

  • Working Hours: Shift (7am-3pm / 11am-7pm / 9am-5pm)
