Role: Recruiting Lead, Commodity Insights and Mobility - APAC

Grade: 11 (relevant to internal only)

Location: Singapore

The Team: As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you will lead a small team of recruiters within the APAC Region, in addition to being responsible for recruiting and filling open roles across the business. You will work closely with team members in the region and across the globe. What\'s in it for you: This role will be responsible for driving the full life cycle recruiting strategy for the Commodity Insights and Mobility Divisions at S&P Global. The role will deliver continuous improvements in the quality, TTF and cost of hiring and will be key in delivering business results. The Lead will ensure client satisfaction with business stakeholders by defining, developing, and implementing recruiting strategies, alongside their peers that support other businesses.

The Lead will align deeply to their client\'s business strategies and understand technical and non-technical requirements. You will be an expert in your business knowledge and be able to provide two-way information sharing and close alignment with the Global TA Leads. You will be engaged with multiple agile People projects, sharing valuable intelligence with your colleagues, and therefore expanding your career. You will ensure the Recruiters deliver against metrics and be accountable for all attraction, sourcing, interviewing and closing processes in the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage business and HR relationships.
  • Use Talent Analytics to reinforce the recruiting value proposition and drive improvements in quality, time and cost. Understand the full suite of recruiting metrics and be accountable for a business area meeting them.
  • Partner with Hiring Managers and business unit leaders to define hiring forecasts.
  • Educate and influence business leaders and HR to change current practices, where necessary, and promote recruitment best practices.
  • Work within predefined recruitment processes while monitoring that process to identify, recommend areas to improve and to always ensure best practices.
  • Help TA team identify target companies, user groups and professional associations.
  • Use networking opportunities such as local community groups or professional associations to identify referrals for qualified candidates.
  • Assessing the need for and organizing appropriate career campaigns (webinars, social media, etc).
  • Work closely with Talent Marketing team to research and negotiate branding and advertising platforms that align with business needs.
  • Provide knowledge of new and innovative search methodologies and tools and the ability and drive to continually explore/test/maximize sourcing strategies. This includes exploration and adoption of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning based tools at all levels of the search process (branding, engagement, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and closing).
  • Manage internal candidates, employee referrals, and pipelines, paying special attention to their needs.
  • Maintain strong understanding of S&P business and industry.
  • Provide expert advice, data, and recommendations to Hiring Managers to support key recruiting decisions.
  • Provide interview guidelines and advice to Hiring Managers, including facilitating interview training when needed.
  • Focus on new and innovative techniques to ensure a positive candidate experience, for both hired and declined candidates, to reinforce the S&P brand reputation.
  • Own relationship with external agencies, when required, within a controlled framework and aligned to other business areas.
  • Inform necessary changes to the global SPGI policies; Immigration, Relocation, Agency, Referrals, Offer Letters. Ensure TA team is up to speed on them.
  • Work with Rewards, Legal, Benefits, Relocation and Immigration in an effective, efficient manner.
Basic Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Business or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years\' of full cycle recruiting experience.
  • 3+ years working on executive level roles.
  • 2+ years leading people
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead and high capability of delivering results.
  • Strong business acumen combined with strategic business partnership and consulting which delivers tangible results.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate across organization boundaries.
