Job Description


Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

  • Responsible for the accounting function and monthly closing for the holding company
  • Responsible for the preparation and submission of quarterly GST returns for the holding company
  • Responsible for the day-to-day accounting shared services and coordination with overseas operations team and outsourced accounting firm for two newly start-up overseas subsidiaries,
  • Responsible for monthly the data entry and preparation of financial reports for two newly start-up overseas subsidiaries.
  • Assist the Regional Finance Manager in General Ledger entries for another third subsidiary
  • Supports the Finance Director/Regional Finance Manager on financial reporting and analysis
  • Responsible for the creation of Group Report formats as required from time to time in the accounting system
  • Ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.

Group Finance and other duties
  • Support the Finance Director in analysing the financial performance and forecasts of the M&A Targets and providing appropriate feedback to the management.
  • Support the Finance Director in collating, analysing and building detailed financial models and provide financial and valuation analysis of the M&A target.
  • Identify any accounting and reporting issues and analyze the business impact of the M&A Target
  • Support the Finance Director in financial performance analysis of the company’s industry
  • Support the Finance Director in ad-hoc M&A duties as assigned
  • Support administration duties for the holding company

Requirements
  • Degree in Accounting, ACCA or equivalent with minimum 3 years of working experience in audit
  • Experience in handling HR and admin duties will be an advantage
  • Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel, and ERP systems
  • Meticulous with numbers and a keen eye for details.
  • Technically strong with sharp business acumen.
  • Great team player with good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Enjoys learning, enthusiastic, focused, high integrity and committed to do your best.
  • Effectively bilingual with ability to read, speak and write emails in Mandarin is mandatory to communicate with counterparties from other countries.
