Job Description




Our Client:

Our client is one of the growing Industrial Gases manufacturing MNC based in Japan. They are looking for a motivated and experienced individual to work as a Regional Assistant Manager in Compliance. He/She will be conducting compliance training for their regional HQ in Singapore.

The Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to Senior Vice President, Legal & Compliance
  • Help drive compliance activities and initiatives within the company and the SEA + India region (including annual compliance programs, compliance activities and periodical compliance training) and monitoring of progress status
  • Conduct research on identified compliance areas of focus and develop training materials and infographics using software tools (i.e. creative tools and video editing tools)
  • Help drive the annual compliance risk assessment process and analyse top compliance risks
  • Support in the development and review of compliance policies, procedures, practices, and documents
  • Help prepare compliance reports and presentation materials for RCCO for periodical compliance reporting and meetings with regional group companies and as required by HQ
  • Support in the review of compliance-related reports received from the company and regional group companies and follow up as necessary
  • Help to provide targeted compliance support as necessary
  • Monitor legal and regulatory changes that may impact the company and news of non-compliance cases
  • Assist to resolve concerns about compliance matters received
  • Provide secretariat support such as arranging of meetings, handling of program logistics and ppt preparation and review for periodical compliance meetings, seminars and workgroups with regional group companies. Minute taking is required for periodical compliance meetings
  • Upkeep and maintain the SharePoint repository of compliance records and documents
Requirements

The Requirements:
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Arts & Social Sciences
  • Minimum 10 years\' experience in a HR function
  • PC literate with working knowledge of using Microsoft Office and usage of creative software tools
  • Possess skills in problem-solving, analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable with public speaking and able to conduct trainings
  • Willing to travel
