Responsibilities:

• Play a pivotal role in shaping certification policies and retain authoritative decision-making power over auditing processes to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Devise a comprehensive strategy for managing accreditations in the ASEAN region, integrating competitiveness and cost-effectiveness.
• Lead the Certification Review Team (CRT), ensuring meticulous issuance of Management System certificates by managing the comprehensive review process, and fostering an environment of shared responsibility and authority by efficiently delegating tasks and mandates within the team.
• Establish, implement, and maintain a robust quality system that adheres to ISO 17021 standards and accreditation criteria for accreditation bodies.
• Coordinate, assess, and report on the performance of quality systems to the management. Leverage these insights to drive continuous improvement within the quality systems and the certification body.
• Ensure that all employees who are involved in audit and certification undergo proper training with the alignment of certification guidelines and procedures. Collaborate closely with the central unit\'s leadership for effective execution.
• Spearhead the development and implementation of new schemes tailored to all BUs, ensuring relevancy and efficacy. Collaborate with Business Units (BUs) to ensure certifications align with market demands while adhering to accreditation prerequisites.
• Serve as a moderator for the Committee tasked with upholding impartiality, thereby safeguarding the integrity of all certification-related processes.
• Overall supervision of certification body activities and certification decisions based on the implemented review process, making informed decisions in cases of discrepancies, encompassing the interpretation of standards and directives pertinent to your purview.
• Oversee the timely and effective resolution of complaints, appeals, and non-conformities, while ensuring a thorough interpretation of audit criteria and standard requirements for certification.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to promptly address and resolve audit findings for ASEAN business units, demonstrating a solutions-oriented approach.
• Spearhead the management of auditor qualification and authorization, for internal and external auditors. Exercise authority in approving new auditors, technical auditors, and certification body members, ensuring a high standard of competence.
• Provide regular and informative monthly updates to the management, furnishing them with valuable insights into certification body operations and progress.

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Business Administration/Quality Assurance/Manufacturing/Engineering related disciplines
• Has 5-7 years regional internal / external audit experience and familiar with ISO 17021 / 9001 or 14001 is highly preferred
• Registered IRCA lead assessor or equivalent
• Knowledge in process improvements and quality tools, Training and course development and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with manufacturers and other team members.
• Ability to articulate assessment findings clearly and professionally
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team and under pressure to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality

Other Information:

• Working Days/Hours: Mon-Thurs, 830am to 6pm, Fri ends at 530pm
• Location: Near Jurong East MRT
