About the Team

Regional Security Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the security of our company\'s assets, staff and customer property. This role requires the agility to adapt and co-ordinate the implementation of DSC Global Security strategies, policies, standards and security management framework program within the respective region. It ensure fundamental security objectives of protection of people, properties and customer assets, sensitive internal information and company reputation are achieved. Reducing business risk exposure with the implementation of unified DHL security standards by performing risk classification and audit across specific region. Having the responsibility of managing staff (direct or indirect reports) on regional level.

The ideal candidate will have experience in security management, loss prevention, regulatory compliance and law enforcement experience. A self starter with a drive for innovative solution to overcome challenges.

Responsibilities

• Implement global security standards and security management framework to ensure the safety and security of company staff, assets and customer property.
• Ensure risk assessment/classification, security audit, corrective and prevention action closure are progressing per plan.
• Conduct investigation on security incidents with proposal on risk mitigation / loss prevention solution.
• Drive regional loss prevention and security culture program.
• Ensure new and existing setup is in compliance with regulatory, policy and contractual security requirement, including the implementation of security protocols and procedures.
• Drive regional security digitalization projects to enhance security operations and provide real-time monitoring.
• Develop and maintain relationship with internal stakeholder and external agency (i.e. law enforcement agencies, professional security body/association and security agencies ) to ensure cooperation and collaboration in security matters.
• Ensure customer value through optimized security performance.

• At least 5 years of experience in security management and loss prevention.
• Having sound knowledge of technical and physical security solution design.
• TAPA FSR & TSR certified auditors with hands on experience in gearing a site to pass TAPA A / TSR 1/2 Certification audit.
• A good understanding of WCO Custom security program (AEO, CTPAT,STP...etc).
• At least 3 years\' experience within Supply Chain, Logistics or Transport Security.
• Excellent knowledge of regulatory compliance requirement and security protocols.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate security incidents and propose effective risk mitigation solutions.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop relationships with stakeholders and communicate security matters effectively.
• Proven ability to drive regional security digitalization projects and improve security operations through the use of technology / innovative solution.
