About the role Reporting to the Regional BI Solutions Manager, this role will work with internal and external stakeholders to define projects and build dashboards for data visualisation and analysis.


What you will be doing

• Work with business stakeholders to analyze and define requirements for new projects or enhancements to existing reporting environment.
• Propose, design and create reports, dashboards or data visualization for business analysis and insights.
• Collaborate with ETL developer to implement new data marts and packages or enhance existing ones.
• Administration of server environment and tools.
• Prepare documentation or specification.
• Knowledge sharing to others in the team to facilitate support process.
• Perform helpdesk support or work with support team to trouble shoot issues.
• Participate in the enhancement and support of cyclical processes, such as the budget or year opening processes.
  

The successful candidate

Essential

• Degree in Business Intelligence, Information Technology, Computer Science or related disciplines
• At least 5 years’ experience in Business intelligence or in a similar role.
• Strong working experience on Tableau and IBM Cognos Analytics.
• Experience in modelling and designing relational DBs, star schemas, and cubes.
• Working knowledge of MS SQL Server, SQL scripting and ETL packages.
• Good knowledge of at least one of the functional areas: financial reporting, customer relationships and sales, freight forwarding and logistics operations

Desirable

• Knowledge on IBM Planning Analytics is a plus.
• Motivated and driven with ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Pro-active and initiate improvements in processes or setup.
• Open to work with new technologies.
• Meticulous and able to multi-task in a fast-moving environment
• Able to communicate effectively with all levels of end-users
