Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

In this newly created role, you will support brand protection strategies and brand enforcement efforts for all products under the brand in Asia (Singapore, China, Japan, Korea, India, Vietnam, Philippines, Australia and others). This includes offline and online brand protection activities, such as monitoring and collaborating with platforms and conducting investigations and test buys on infringing products and misuse of the brand\'s intellectual property online and offline. You will also liaise closely with external agents and attorneys in the coordination of documents and instructions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor brand related issues, support actionable recommendations and report results of actions, create and update trackers.
• Support the global BP team to coordinate local investigation activities, gather documentation internally and externally in support of local and global IP needs.
• Support the broader IP/BP team in relation to information/data requests to aid prosecutions and litigations.
• Maintain data bases ensuring accurate recording of registrations and intelligence.
• Create regular reports for BP, Legal and business teams.

• At least 1 year of IP experience, gained in reputable IP law practices and/or brand protection teams within multinational companies.
• Experience in e-commerce platforms, online marketplaces and/or social media channels (e.g., Lazada, Shopee, Zalora, Amazon) is preferred.
• Self-starter and have the ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong track record in working independently under the direction of the global brand protection team on a variety of projects simultaneously.
• Highly meticulous with effective communication skills to work closely with regional and country stakeholders, global IP team, external agents and attorneys.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin and ideally have the ability to speak Korean.
