Summary

Are you based in Singapore and interested in using your life sciences background to build a career in marketing, science communication, and writing in the biotechnology industry? We are looking for a Scientific Marketing Specialist who will contribute to STEMCELL\xe2\x80\x99s mission of improving lives through advanced knowledge and scientific discovery.

As a Scientific Marketing Specialist, you will support marketing efforts in the Asia Pacific region by developing marketing strategies, creating helpful and engaging content, and promoting our brand and content via various channels (e.g. social media, emails, webinars). You will support regional events and conferences in the area by liaising with organizers and supporting other logistical regional office needs. This highly collaborative role will require close communication with sales personnel and various Marketing and Product Management teams. The successful candidate must be eligible to work in Singapore and able to work from our local office at least 3 days a week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Plan and execute strategic marketing campaigns to support the delivery of STEMCELL\xe2\x80\x99s market segment and brand strategies in Asia Pacific, and support the achievement of sales and marketing goals
• Create, maintain, and promote marketing content, including lead-generating activities, website content, social media content, videos, web and print advertisements, sales tools, tradeshow booth graphics, and other promotional materials
• Manage the execution of local conferences and events, and support regional office needs and logistics related to regional marketing - e.g. inventory, stock, and ship local conference and literature assets. Please note, this role will require some travel to support local conferences and events
• Track, review, and report the progress of marketing campaigns and tactics with supervisor and campaign project teams; identify and report bottlenecks and delays, and update the status of assigned tasks in the project management system

Knowledge and Qualifications

• BSc in the life sciences with 2-3 years relevant experience, or MSc in the life sciences with 1-2 years of experience
• Experience in a marketing or communications role, with a demonstrated ability to translate marketing strategy and tactical plans into effective marketing collateral is an asset
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) both in one-on-one and in group settings. The ability to speak Mandarin (or other regional languages) is an asset
• Strong independent and group project management and organizational skills, including enthusiasm for working as a part of a dynamic, fast-paced, and results-oriented team
• Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position marketing related equipment and materials of at least 9 kg, as required
