Reporting directly to the Business Unit Manager for Asia Pacific, this is a role for a strong commercial and sales leader keen to take the next step in their career. About the Regional Commercial Manager - Commercial Kitchen Equipment Role: Responsible for Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia and Philippines, you will have complete accountability for the business and lead all operations to ensure profitability. Key Responsibilities:
Manage a team of 10 staff covering sales, service, finance and administration
Define the right and impactful strategies for your assigned markets based on competitive and market intelligence
Implement an effective and consistent brand strategy for your market segment
Develop long term revenue, win customer confidence and build professional relationships with key influencers and decision makers in the industry
Focus local marketing on 4P development and product-portfolio development
Work with the Key Account Manager to win projects and key customers
Manage after-sales service of dealers to meet customer satisfaction
Define long range plan strategy and establish annual plan for yearly operations and present them for the region
P&L responsibility for the business including achievement of the annual plan
Implement successful approach/plans for retaining existing customers and develop prospective customers (through dealers) by offering value propositions designed for generating mutually sustainable and profitable business relationship over foreseeable horizons
Conduct research, evaluate findings to select products from a vast portfolio as per market requirements, competition and forecast and establish sales revenue
Establish Go-to-Market strategy, sales structure, divisional sales process and sales excellence actions
Provide training and support for sales teams and align sales force in the countries to the local requirements and revenue targets
Conduct business presentations, competitive mapping and analysis to Key Account headquarters for annual rate contracts
Participate in exhibitions and organise events for marketing, brand awareness, product training and relationship building with relevant stakeholders in the industry
To succeed in this Regional Commercial Manager - Commercial Kitchen Equipment role, you must be a charismatic leader with an outstanding track record in sales achievement. Key Requirements:
Degree in Business Administration or a related field
Minimum of 10 years in experience in sales, marketing, business management and project management
Experience in food service industry is a must, with past working experience at multinational companies
Regional experience with vast understanding of various cultures within Southeast Asia
Domestic market sales development
Commercial/industrial product experience preferred (product knowledge, market experience and competition information on commercial ware washing, food preparation, refrigeration, horizontal cooking, vertical cooking, bakery and food waste disposing equipment)
Excellent understanding of market for commercial kitchen equipment
Good people-management skills
Strong written and spoken English
Readiness to travel regionally (40 - 50%)
