Duties & Responsibilities * Conduct extensive Regional collection development process and create precisely-defined product specifications for the APAC region * Heads Category P&L for the region Duties & Responsibilities Conduct extensive Regional collection development process and create precisely-defined product specifications for the APAC region Heads Category P&L for the region Responsible for Review & Approval process in line with Global Brand Guidelines Organize and lead the regional Shoeline review meetings Internal communication tools to share trend research, new ideas, success stories, and competitor analysis Centrally coordinate and engage on regional requirements play the lead role in presenting for initiative toward innovation/technology adoption Lead Regional Collection Team's common collection introduction efforts during Regional Buying Meetings Define and prioritize product development projects ensuring the new product line meets or exceeds the target customers to support the sales revenue Monitor line requirements for any possible duplication line reduction by engaging the best styles of each Opco into the part of the Regional common collection Drive Product agenda Repowering & Project catalyst initiatives in the region Approve Regional paper collection on finalizing line efficiency for APAC common Buying Meeting Ensure APAC common final selection proposal is consumed regionally and developed locally for Pakistan & Bangladesh Work closely with Collection Team in Opco to upgrade collection locally for own manufacturing capabilities Provide Product guidelines and support for locally sourced collections to meet desired aesthetic, commercial, and value add required for Product upgradation Approve and provide guidelines for all new mould investments Setting up timelines, progress monitoring, and timely updates and recommendation to stakeholders Responsible to build the Regional shoe line assortment creating line synergies and consolidation across the Region Ensure merchandising range plan, assortment plans, and segmentations plans are harmonized with the business concept, and aligned with global strategy and ensure the collection offered meets or exceeds the target customers to support the sales revenue Increase overall GM and inventory efficiency by reducing the number of lines, fostering regional/global collections building, and buying Centrally engage in annual Budgeting & Merchandising Planning Process for the Region Lead GPR & SRM buying plan meeting to ensure range segmentation & no of lines per Opco as APAC targets Strategic Planning Responsible for influencing product positioning with product marketing research including regional trends, competitive information on business metrics Identify areas for product development and improvement process, initiating action plans and ensuring implementation in APAC markets Active involvement in the generation and review of revenue growth for the Regional Common collections are achieved on a seasonal basis Participating in the Product Management charter on both regional and global levels Lead & ensure Brand Compliance Guideline (BCG)initiatives for all collections developed in Global 7 Brands Interact & coordinate with Regional marketing leads to develop a qualified regional product launching program Build a blueprint for a consistent categorization roadmap Lead the APAC Merchandising Strategy anchored on the right Product Assortment, price strategy & Collection Risk Best Practice cascade across regions & OpCos Monthly Merchandising cabinet meetings & Merchandising summary for leadership Lead the APAC Merchandising dashboard project, coordinate with IT developer and Opco for data accuracy and promote the usage to stakeholders Lead the implementation of a High-Performance Merchandising tool Maintain an open channel of communication between the organization and create an impact within the region by completing project development which will add value to the region Requirements Diploma/Degree in Business, Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising or any related discipline Minimum 15 years of experience in the related field Working experience as a Regional Director or similar position in the retail industry Ability to demonstrate excellent leadership skills Good analytical skills
