We are a rocketship looking for an experienced finance professional to help build and manage our finance function to support the leadership & all stakeholders in Bukuwarung. You will be working with the Director of Corporate Development and Finance head and be responsible for all things finance & compliance for the company.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Working closely with in-country teams (in Indonesia) to manage the full spectrum of Accounting and Reporting activities for entities across Indonesia, Singapore and India
• The portfolio includes monthly financial close, financial and management reporting, group consolidation, cash flow management, corporate secretarial, treasury, taxation, audit, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements as well as to company accounting policies
• Implementing and ensuring there are robust financial controls as the business scales
• Drive the overall group tax compliance across all markets, and the tax efficiency in all group transactions and initiatives
• Lead and drive the financial operations and treasury function to ensure the effective use of the funds and minimize the cost of funding
• Manage and review the procurement policies and processes and ensure that procurement governance are complied with
• Lead the drive for up-tiering and upskilling the regional accounting team to inspire and create a high-performing culture

Requirements:

• 8+ years of post-qualification experience with a minimum of bachelor\'s degree in accounting, tax and auditing, investing or finance, and a further business/financial qualification such as CFA / ACCA/CPA/CA
• Working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, you need to be equipped with strong Finance & Accounting technical skillset as well as the ability to be hands-on in a growing setup
• Experience in Netsuite accounting system and IFRS accounting standard
• Desired traits: hands-on, easy-going, highly adaptable, driven, resourceful, level-headed, fast-paced, able to work in a dynamic environment
• Industry: Relevant FinTech, Banking Payment, or related industry exposure can be helpful - or demonstrates a keen interest in joining the FinTech industry
• Strong verbal and written communication skills coupled with excellent data, advanced excel & presentation skills
• Familiarity with business processes and accounting of Indonesia and Singapore is a big plus
