The New Business Units (NBU) division comprises some of the most exciting and enterprising teams at Ninja Van. Building on Ninja Van’s existing capabilities, we experiment with new ideas to develop innovative products and services that enhance our core business and help us serve our clients, partners and end-customers better.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide financial visibility on business performance for NBU GROUP (across 5 business units) through strong financial analysis of key drivers to internal and external stakeholders
• Close collaboration with Regional Controlling and Local Finance teams to maintain accurate and complete regional cost data are captured in Ninja Van’s accounting system
• Support Finance Planning: Build models and support Business Partner on quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning for Group consolidation
• Support monthly/quarterly external reporting: Support Head of Business Partner on Monthly Investor Report and Quarterly Reporting
• Support Ad-hoc analysis required for GROUP NBU

Responsibilities

• Provide timely financial analysis of Group NBU performance through monthly consolidation of Management Accounts (Business Performance) for dedicated NBUs using Financial Accounts (Netsuite)
• Reporting on Regional Cost Centres (inclusive of NBU and PUDO)
• Support Head of Business Partner to deliver GROUP monthly reporting for NBU Management
• Support monthly/quarterly external reporting: Support Head of Business Partner on Monthly Investor Report and Quarterly Reporting
• Work closely with Regional Controlling /Local Finance teams, Regional HR/local HR and Regional FPA to ensure that regional cost data is submitted as accurately and as completely as possible
• Reconcile differences between Netsuite Financial Accounts (for investor reporting) and Management Accounts (for business performance)
• Build reports (as initiatives) for NBU GROUP
• Collaborate with line manager, Reg Controlling and business unit to develop finance and operational processes related to new business processes/products (GTM for new BU if required)
• Provide historical data and build models to support Business Partner on quarterly forecasting and annual budget planning for GROUP NBU
• Review assumptions and analyse and provide insights on forecasts’ key trends and drivers

Requirements

• Minimally a Bachelor's degree in Business, and/or Accounting field
• At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in FP&A/Audit/Business Analytics
• Experience in financial analysis, financial statements analysis, pricing and product analysis
• Strong communications, with a good adaptability
• Ability to problem-solve and reconcile on data and data flow issues
