Job Description

This is a regional role and the successful candidate\'s primary focus will be to work with the compliance team to identify and effectively advise on compliance matters across a range of existing and new products in region. The ideal candidate will need to maintain a strong awareness of the impact of regulation on commercial viability and technological innovation.

Description

Reporting to the CEO, the Regional Head of Compliance will be involved in the following :-

• Manage relationships with regulators and partners, and handle queries, clarifications, and address concerns arising from AML and compliance activities.
• Monitor new services and product launches to ensure compliance with existing legal and regulatory requirements and guidelines.
• Lead internal and external audits of compliance and regulatory processes and procedures, respond to the results of the audits and assessments, remediate issues identified from the findings, and develop corrective action plans to implement.
• Create regular regulatory performance reports for the company, such as recommendations on strategy.

Profile

To qualify, the potential Regional Head of Compliance should meet the following criteria :-

• At least 10 years of compliance experience within the FinTech industry.
• Strong knowledge about payment services and cross border payments.
• Excellent communicator with strong inter-personal and influencing skills.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
