Job Description

Reporting to the Regional Managing Director (GTR), the Regional Head of Marketing (GTR) will be responsible for the leadership of the brand strategies across the GTR regions and the creation and execution of the brand growth plans. The role will deliver a step change in the visibility, recruitment and experience provided by The Macallan brand in GTR, through our leadership in retail, New Product Development (NPD) and digital engagement. This will also be a pivotal role in the GTR leadership team ensuring strategic alignment with the Business Units and marketing teams to ensure highest quality of execution in our retail environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the brand growth plans for the GTR channel – delivering clear global and regional strategies across the Edrington portfolio for each brand
• Work closely with key stakeholders in Global Brand team, Consumer Insight team and the regional teams to ensure alignment and delivery of execution against the plans
• Line management responsibility for the GTR marketing team – developing a high-performance culture and delivering world class outputs
• Delivery of retail leadership and excellence through The Macallan GTR boutiques, Shop-in-Shops, branded spaces with best-in-class execution and evaluations across all portfolio, including new product launches.
• Work closely with the Global Brand team and Regional Marketing leads on the planning and implementation of The Macallan media plan (both online and offline) for airports within global campaign
• Lead and implement new digital strategy globally within GTR, with dialled up focus on China, aligned to domestic rollouts.
