Your role
GCS Regional Security Services delivers a full-service physical, personnel, crime and reputational risk mitigation program across 14 country locations in the Asia Pacific Region. Program reach encompasses all internal UBS business divisions and external Offshore Delivery Centers (ODC). The Head of Regional Security Services, APAC will lead a specialist team of full time staff and embedded vendor staff throughout the region and will report directly to the Head of Group Corporate Services, APAC. An additional reporting line will be to the GCS (Security) global lead and close partnership with Group Security Services will be required on physical security policy and related matters. In addition to functional expertise across a broad range of corporate security management activities, they will also be an experienced business manager with excellent vendor management, financial and project management skills.

Your team

• Managing and advising on all aspects of staff security in collaboration where necessary with cross-business crisis management teams
• Supporting cross-business management teams to identify, quantify and mitigate security risks across the region
• Leading a cadre of country Security Managers managing day-to-day security operations in 14 countries across the APAC region
• Leading a cadre of security analysts and incident management specialists staffing the 24/hr APAC Regional Security Services Center in Hong Kong

Your expertise

• At least 7 years senior corporate security management experience within the banking/financial services sector
• Direct experience of security and regulatory issues affecting International Financial Institutions is strongly desired
• A strong track record of operational delivery within a diverse cultural and risk environments
• Excellent written and oral communication skills facilitating credible and trusted interaction with senior business leaders and global counterparts
• Strong project management / change management/vendor management skills
• Good prioritization and organizational skills, and the ability to work well under pressure
