REGIONAL HEAD OF SPECIALIZED NUTRITIONDairy IngredientsAn exciting opportunity in an global food and beverage industry with a broad portfolio of dairy ingredients.Location: SingaporeFull time, PermanentAbout the role:This position reports to SBU Head, Dairy Ingredients and Solutions based in Singapore. The individual will work closely with Plant, shipping, and sales team.Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership: Oversee the strategic direction and development of the nutrition division, specifically focusing on the commercialization of infant base powders from the plant in Malaysia. Ensure alignment with the company\'s overall business goals.
• Product Commercialization: Lead the process of bringing infant base powders to market, from initial concept through to launch. This includes overseeing product development, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing the go-to-market strategy.
• Sales Channel Development: Establish and develop efficient sales channels for the nutrition business. This involves identifying potential market segments, setting up distribution networks, and fostering partnerships with key stakeholders to ensure wide market reach and penetration.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the manufacturing plant to ensure production capabilities are aligned with business objectives. This includes collaborating on production planning, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize product offerings.
• Market Analysis and Business Expansion: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning. Use insights to guide business development efforts and explore opportunities for expanding the product portfolio or entering new markets.
• Regulatory Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet local and international regulatory standards. Oversee quality assurance processes to maintain high-quality standards across all nutrition products
• Financial Management: Develop and manage budgets related to the nutrition business unit, including production costs, marketing expenses, and sales forecasts. Monitor financial performance and adjust strategies as needed to meet revenue and profitability targets.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build and lead a high-performing team. Provide guidance, training, and support to team members to achieve business and professional development Building entire sales structure to market these products in Asian market.
• Setting sales targets (volume and margin), assign strategic account objectives and focus on business development with the customers.
• Explore possibility to expand our offering from our other operations in NZ.
• Work with a cross functional team to achieve objectives which includes driving portfolio growth, R&D, marketing etc.
• The candidate will be responsible for building this business from scratch and delivering set objectives over the next few years.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 10-15 years of experience and exposure to direct sales/commercial or account management experience in food/ingredient in Asia markets.
• Built solid relationships with major ingredients/nutrition customers especially by selling various food products
• Able to influence cross functional stakeholders, with direct sales experience in developing account relationships with strategic customers; demonstrated results in growing business with customers and delivering margin growth.
• Good quantitative skills and commercial acumen
• Ability to scale up new business - achieve volume and profit targets consistently
