Responsible for all legal and compliance matters for the company; such as providing professional legal advice, legal leadership, strategy and risk management in compliance with the company practices and government regulations through knowledge and experience. To act as a contact person for regional legal matters.
Key Responsibilities
Develop compliance systems and processes for all areas of business in conjunction with functional and business leaders to ensure company’s legal rights.
Provide professional legal advice, legal leadership, strategy, and risk management evaluation.
Maintaining and coordinating contract administration
Prepare, draft, negotiate and review on all aspects of customer/ supplier/ license/ distributor/ non-disclosure agreements in compliance with Government regulations.
Assist with contract drafting/vetting and negotiation across the various business units.
Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
Degree in Law with minimum 5 years of experience in related field is required
Excellent legal & contract analytical skills with a good eye for detail
Excellent drafting capabilities and negotiation/ communication skills
Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
Team player
Good time-management skills
