Job Description
Main purpose
Responsible for all legal and compliance matters for the company; such as providing professional legal advice, legal leadership, strategy and risk management in compliance with the company practices and government regulations through knowledge and experience. To act as a contact person for regional legal matters.Key Responsibilities
- Develop compliance systems and processes for all areas of business in conjunction with functional and business leaders to ensure company’s legal rights.
- Provide professional legal advice, legal leadership, strategy, and risk management evaluation.
- Maintaining and coordinating contract administration
- Prepare, draft, negotiate and review on all aspects of customer/ supplier/ license/ distributor/ non-disclosure agreements in compliance with Government regulations.
- Assist with contract drafting/vetting and negotiation across the various business units.
- Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Degree in Law with minimum 5 years of experience in related field is required
- Excellent legal & contract analytical skills with a good eye for detail
- Excellent drafting capabilities and negotiation/ communication skills
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills
