This position works with Regional and Site leadership teams in devising strategy and operational programs to meet future and current operating requirements. This position is a member of the global logistics team and participates in formulating global and regional logistics strategy. Success in this position requires experience in managing teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously, implementing and driving change, detail orientation, strong analytical skills, market knowledge and customer focus. Key success attributes are change management, being an effective face to the customer and driving productivity and continuous improvement. The person in this position must have a high bias for action, strong team leadership, facilitation and communication skills and an ability to work in a matrix organization.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESxc2xb7 Provide in region logistics leadership for all Jabil logistics and trade compliance operations.
xc2xb7 Formulate logistics strategy in support of business unit and site requirements.
xc2xb7 Manage and coach regional logistics team and site logistics managers
xc2xb7 Provide guidance to carrier managers in regional carrier selection and negotiations.
xc2xb7 Manage and lead multiple projects simultaneously
xc2xb7 Work in coordination with the other Regional Managers in formulating strategy and capabilities to provide logistics support for cross regional operations.
xc2xb7 Develop and drive productivity initiatives for both in region and cross region operations.
xc2xb7 Ensure regional logistics performance.
xc2xb7 Support customer sales initiatives and customer accounts. Meet with customers.
xc2xb7 Lead dedicated customer logistics activity
xc2xb7 Drive team productivity
xc2xb7 May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.JOB QUALIFICATIONS

xc2xb7 Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable companys business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets.
xc2xb7 Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint.
xc2xb7 Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes.
xc2xb7 Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs.
xc2xb7 Strong and convincing communication skills.
xc2xb7 Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTSxc2xb7 Bachelors degree required, MBA preferred.
xc2xb7 Seven (7) to ten (10) years of significant international and regional logistics experience.
xc2xb7 Demonstrated high performance orientation, high bias for action, strong analytical skills, industry knowledge, negotiation skills and communication skills.
xc2xb7 Must be able to influence senior management through well formulated business presentations.
xc2xb7 Must have ability and willingness to work and lead focused and cross functional teams within a matrix organization.
