Adecco is partnering exclusively with one of our clients in the retail industry, we are seeking for a suitable talent to join their business as a Regional Logistics Manager (Head of Logistics). The incumbent will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring logistics operations such as warehousing, inventory, transportation, shipping documentation and supply chain processes for APAC region, in addition to leading new supply chain/logistics projects.

The Opportunity
  • Responsible in identifying 3PL partners and manage the full spectrum of RFP process from vendor selection, rates negotiation, final evaluation to implementation stage
  • Develop and drive project plans involving the wider cross-functional stakeholders to complete deliverables timely
  • Initiate logistics roadmap to adapt to ecommerce & wholesale business strategy and strong logistics expansion
  • Drive actions to align on business requirements such as new process set-up, pilot run and logistics readiness to product launches
  • Establish relationship with 3PLs to drive cost and quality performance based on company standards
  • Negotiate project implementation costing and manage project implementation costs tracking and allocation of costs to business owners
  • Provide regular updates on project implementation progress to senior management to enable overall project progress monitoring
  • Plan, manage and evaluate logistics operations liaising with internal stakeholders and all aspect of 3PL
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Negotiate warehouse rates/services
  • Create policies or procedures for warehouse activities
  • Monitor product import processes to ensure compliance with regulatory or legal requirements
  • Strong knowledge in the custom clearance procedure and custom\'s clearance requirements such as application of VO, KSO, Form D/E/AI, Back to Back Form D/E, Invoice and Packing List
The Talent
  • Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in Logistics operations, Warehousing & Distribution in retail business coupled with 3 years of regional leadership experience
  • Possess excellent leadership, analytical, communication and interpersonal skill
  • Target driven and aggressive towards achieving goals and objectives
  • Ability to drive project implementations, develop effective processes and procedures to support business growth
  • Ability to use performance management techniques to improve individual and group performances
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple projects
