Our Animal Health Marketing team takes a customer centric perspective using customer feedback and market intelligence data. Using this data, we design, develop and deploy products, platforms, brands and marketing initiatives that ensure we can improve the health and well-being of animals everywhere. WHAT YOU WILL DO The Regional Manager is a highly specialized technical and commercial profile responsible for deploying and supporting the execution of the commercial strategy of the AQUA portfolio in the Asia-Pacific and Sub-Saharan (APSA) region. A key component of this role is to maximize opportunities for countries to have access to our company's biopharma, technology, and conservation products through strategic business partners, direct customers, scientific leaders, and key accounts. The Regional Manager is a biopharmaceutical expert with the ability to discuss technical approach with customers and experts of the aquaculture industry, with deep knowledge in fish welfare, biosecurity, new technologies and recommendations on ways to work in each area. Reporting to the Warm Water Species Lead (WWS), the post-holder will be a member of Our Company Animal Health Global Aqua Marketing team and will support the creation of the commercial strategy and will coordinate the implementation of tactics with each of the countries lead in the APSA region. In addition, the post-holder will be responsible for technical support and training of internal teams and external business partners across biopharma, technology, and conservation brands. . Focus on Warm Water Species (tilapia, shrimp, and marine species). . Strong business acumen to identify market needs and opportunities in Biopharma, Technology, Traceability and Conservation. . Responsible for creating and executing the business and marketing plan for biopharmaceuticals and technology for the APSA region. . Support countries in the development of sales channels and implementation of commercial strategy. . Provide technical training on vaccination and biosafety to Our Company's customers, distributors, and internal staff. . Provide technical support to all countries during farm visits, build relationships with key customers and stakeholders from the warm water industry. . Coordinate the implementation of the disease surveillance program in all strategic countries in the APSA region. . Support countries during product registration process and the supply chain. . Creation of marketing initiatives and coordination of benchmark studies in the region. . Responsible for the integration and coordination of Our Company's Animal Health Intelligence (MAHI) in the APSA region. . Support countries in local activities at fairs, conferences, customer visits and workshops. . Support the creation of technical and promotional material for the region. . Stay on top of marketing trends and innovations to maximize new opportunities. . Quarterly report tactical and commercial results to the Warm Water Species Lead. Revisiting next quarter's initiatives with supervisor to modify plans as needed. . Communicate and collaborate with aqua species marketing team and across business units . Ability to conduct market research and identify new positioning opportunities and gain insight as to where the industry is headed . Champion new and innovative ways of working that embrace new technologies and business efficiencies to optimize marketing capabilities and Our Company Animal Health Aqua species brand exposure. WHAT YOU MUST HAVE To be successful in this role, you will have: . Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Veterinary, Engineering or related. . 4-5 years in sales experience related to AQUA business preferred. . Prior knowledge of aquatic farming, fish vaccination and fish welfare. . Understand basic biosecurity and disease management. . Prior knowledge and experience using fish vaccines and disinfectants. . Experience with aquaculture technology. . Demonstrated capability to collaborate in cross functional teams. . Ability to support sales teams in terms of marketing strategies and campaigns. . Proactivity and business management capability. . Experience in supporting the training and implementation of fish vaccination. . Ability to conduct field trials, market research and identify new opportunities to where the industry is headed. . Ability to demonstrate ROI with vaccination programs. . Personal resilience and ability to thrive and remain motivated through periods of change. . Basic knowledge and understanding of Wildlife Conservation and Aquaculture industries. .
