This role will bridge the gap between strategic market intelligence/sensing and the regional implementation of market strategy and campaigns.The role of Agilent\xe2\x80\x99s Business Intelligence Team is to provide market and customer insights to characterize new markets, support the development and execution of marketing strategy, and use internal and external data sources to inform business decisions. We are looking for a Regional Market Intelligence Analyst to conduct market research and gathering market intelligence, trends, and competitive position as well as to curate, synthesize and translate this information into actionable insights to inform business decisions and further strengthen and support a customer-centric culture at Agilent.To undertake this role, you will have proven market research and intelligence gathering experience, knowledge of the analytical tools industry as well as an understanding of the technologies and segmentation used across different end-markets (Pharma/Biopharma, Food, Environmental, Chemical, Energy, Materials and Diagnostics).Key Responsibilities include:In-Depth Market Sensing and ResearchAnalyze industry, financial, competitor and investor reportsCollect and analyze field sales, customer and industry feedback and trendsLeverage the global business intelligence team to create Asia Pacific (APAC)-specific business insightsDeep dive into market, government/funding, competitor and other reports in order to collect actionable account, customer or market informationRegular reporting to the leadership team, marketing and sales teamsRegional Field Marketing SupportSupport strategic marketing program development by providing actionable market and customer insightsMonitor and provide input on access to regional government funding opportunitiesProvide support to characterize strategic regional accounts/institutionsMarket Analysis, Updates and ReportingRegular analysis and reporting on key APAC markets, competitors, investment trends and regulationsProvide actionable insights to support APAC marketing and sales programs, and inform strategic decision-makingEnd-Market Customer EngagementsHelp identify, recruit and maintain relationships with key opinion leadersQualitative and quantitative marketing research projects to assess, measure, analyze and report on unmet customer needsAssist in translating customer information into actionable insightsEnd-Market Initiative AnalysisRegular analysis and report out on key regional Applied, Pharma/Biopharma and Diagnostics markets performance, investment trends and regulationsQualificationsBachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in marketing, business or a technical field5+ years of experience in conducting market research, analysis and reporting projectsStrong understanding of Agilent\xe2\x80\x99s technology and its application to testing in the major markets of Applied (Food, Environmental, Energy, Chemical, Materials), Pharma, Biopharma, Academia and DiagnosticsExcellent research, analytical, data interpretation and reporting skillsStrong analytical and critical thinkingExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent knowledge of analytical software and strong proficiency with MS OfficeStrong knowledge of data collection and data mining methodsFamiliarity with survey tools, CRM programs and databasesStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to collaborate with external and internal customers and stakeholders across various management levelsAdditional DetailsThis job has a full time weekly schedule.
