Job Title: Regional Procurement Manager, SEA

Key Responsibilities:

• Key lead of South-East Asia regions for Taste procurement and accountable for regional competitiveness plan and localization projects
• Support Global negotiation and strategies implementation in the region while driving local agility and market benchmark
• Leads the implementation of the procurement strategy for a raw materials portfolio and supports the development of the procurement strategy with senior sourcing managers for their respective portfolios
• Ensure monitoring of sourcing requirements and issues for her/his zone in clause collaboration with global sourcing and local business teams
• Leverage DSM-Firmenich regional presence across BU and support regional sales and specific customer negotiations
• Coordinate new sources or raw material introduction locally. Submit and follow through on internal requests and work with suppliers and internal partners to facilitate introductions
• Work closely with our Regulatory Affairs team to ensure compliance with global, regional, or local regulations of our purchased raw materials
• Support Special Projects, client requests (market/ info), innovation-based projects
• Develops a strong knowledge of the raw materials, understands the market drivers & monitors competitive factors & risks.

You bring:

• Master Degree in Business, Purchasing, Finance, Food Technology, Chemistry, Science, Agronomy
• Possess 3 - 5 years of experience in Procurement (Flavors & Fragrance industry, Food, Chemical Industry, Naturals or Ingredients business is a plus)
• Solid know-how on strategic sourcing process including negotiation.
• Experience in an International Business is a strong asset
• Experience in Chemicals / Food / Flavors and Fragrance materials is a plus
• Demonstrate strong communication (verbal and written skills), analytical, strategic, quantitative and problem-solving skills
• Experienced in project management
• Strong at internal and external stakeholder management. Demonstrate ability to work in teams and in a fast paced and challenging environment
• Strong time-management skills, self-starter, independent and able to work in a global environment
• Fluency in Chinese is a strong plus
• Self-starter, independent and able to work in a global team environment. Strong analytical skills, curious & independent mind.
