Your Role

A key and critical role within the Asia Pacific and Middle East (APME) Regional HR team, the Regional Talent Acquisition Leader in Gensler will create and deliver the talent acquisition strategy by partnering with the Regional Managing Principal and Office Leaders across the region. Whilst reporting to the Regional HR Director, the role will be fully integrated as part of the global talent acquisition team, working closely with the Global Talent Acquisition Director for firmwide alignment. The success of this role will be collaborating with the Business Leaders and local HR leads (covering India, Japan, Singapore, UAE, KSA, Australia and Thailand) to understand and translate the critical needs for business growth through attracting and hiring the best talent in the market and the contribution towards candidates\xe2\x80\x99 s experience.

What You Will Do

This is a critical role in supporting the business by strengthening the Gensler brand in the talent market across the region and attracting top talent from the industry and creating the best candidate and employee experience through our People First Philosophy. Key responsibilities will involve the following.
  • Create and lead a talent acquisition strategy for APME.
  • Conduct local talent mapping, industry talent trends, targeted selection to support critical or strategic hiring needs for any practice area; seek new ways to attract passive candidates.
  • Conduct direct searches and build a strong network of senior level talent pool.
  • Manage search firm contracts to align with Firmwide and strengthen the partnership for critical hires and our external branding.
  • Work closely with local HR leads to ensure local hiring is aligned with Firmwide and regional practices. Support local HR leads to drive our employer value proposition across each market.
  • Lead or co-lead talent acquisition related projects and initiatives.
  • Participate and integrate into the firm\xe2\x80\x99s Talent Acquisition community.
  • Fully optimize the use of Workday to enable proactive hiring, talent pipeline management and candidate data management and to ensure a consistent approach across the region.
  • Apply the People First Philosophy in all talent acquisition practices and approaches.
  • Engage with external providers and partners such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor in raising our profile, create a competitive edge, build external networks.
  • Standardize recruitment process and approaches across the region for internal efficiency whilst creating the best candidate experience.
  • Track and monitor recruitment and DEI metrics to measure success of hiring, source of hiring etc.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Development team to co-create and co-facilitate TA related learning activities.
  • Coordinate and manage internal transfers, implementing and advising on best practices and supporting our team members and leaders throughout the process.
  • Lead or co-lead ad hoc TA initiatives as need to grow the region and our leaders.
  • Support Gensler sustainability goals. Especially on topics relevant to your day-to-day duties.
  • Engage and collaborate with the larger team on sustainability efforts and initiatives.
  • Research and implement ways to optimize our internal workflow environmental impact.


Your Qualifications
  • Degree educated with HR related certification is ideal.
  • Experience in talent acquisition business partnering /consulting, coupled with strong relationship management skills.
  • Experience in working across multiple countries and culturally sensitive.
  • Strong stakeholder management experience.
  • \xe2\x80\x98In-house\xe2\x80\x99 or \xe2\x80\x98corporate\xe2\x80\x99 recruiting experience in professional services and/or consulting type industry is ideal.
  • Proven track record in conducting and managing confidential and senior hires;
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively under pressure, working on tight deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Strong communicator both verbal and written.
  • Advanced interview and selection skills.
  • Experience in market mapping and talent searches.
  • Experience in dealing with complex Talent Acquisitions processes /systems e.g., Workday.
  • Knowledge of recruitment best practices, particularly relating to candidate experience & employer brand.
  • Basic understanding of sustainable design and operations is preferred.
