About Our Client
The client is one of the largest diagnostic service providers with over 300 laboratories set up across the regions. There are a lot of strategic investments and changes have happened in the last twelve months and as part of their ambition to grow in APAC into largest diagnostic service provider. They are looking for a lab technical expert equipped with business acumen and leader to step into this Regional Technical and Operations Director role. You will have full autonomy to make decisions for the region and they are looking for someone who has experience running labs and managing regional lab activities.
Serve as intersection between diagnostics and therapeutic decision making, provide end-to-end service on understanding the diagnostic landscape to test implementation in treatment pathway
Define the strategy to direct the development and installation of procedures and controls and cascading of information to the relevant stakeholders
Manage projects for new laboratory setup across the region, Laboratory information systems & other IT improvements, expansion projects, driving continuous workflow and process improvements
Explore new technologies that can improve the competitiveness of the company's service
Provide support and technical advice for the project managers required by the project management team
Lead discussions with government agencies and accreditation bodies
Strong understanding of competitors in the industry and building a competitive edge
Build a good team culture with the existing and future team members
The Successful Applicant
Degree in Science with over 10 years of senior technical management experience, proficient in managing projects for new laboratory setup across the region
Minimum 10 years in adiagnostic/ laboratory management role
Knowledge and expertise in managing regional diagnostics labs and project teams and have deep understanding of technical, operational, and commercial issues faced by the business units
The role requires frequent overseas travel, so you need to be flexible with such requirements
