About Our Client

As Director of Telecom Systems and Operations, you will be responsible for:

• Oversee BSS/OSS applications, driving enhancements and project delivery for new business capabilities in telecom and digital sectors.
• Lead design and build squads, collaborating closely with business units to increase revenue, streamline operations, and reduce costs.
• Provide strong technical leadership and business management skills to maximize IT capabilities and achieve digital ambitions.
• Foster a high-performing culture focused on enterprise leadership, collaboration, and innovation.
• Develop and mentor teams, promoting commitment, trust, and pride.
• Deliver exceptional presentations to senior business and IT management.
• Build capabilities through talent acquisition, offshore centers, vendors, and training.
• Cultivate strategic relationships and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Inspire stakeholders, drive technology alignment, and overcome barriers to change.
• Ensure quality, on-time delivery, and customer satisfaction.
• Optimize resource allocation and leverage outsourcing for cost-effective solutions.
• Align program/project delivery with IT strategic standards.

The Successful Applicant

• Minimum 10 years of IT experience, including 5 years in management, with expertise in Telco and Digital BSS/OSS products and systems.
• Extensive experience (7+ years) in IT architecture and/or delivery.
• Successfully managed delivery, architecture, and design teams of over 30 staff members.
• Led multiple major transformational projects as a technical or project lead, accountable for end-to-end solution, delivery, and post-cutover support. Proficient in COTS BSS/OSS products and/or custom-built systems.
• Proven ability to manage diverse business stakeholders and vendors effectively.
• Strong commercial acumen, understanding the cost components associated with IT solutions and delivery.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills at senior management and executive levels.
• Solid understanding of architectural principles and industry standards.
• Track record of delivering in complex and high-pressure environments.
• Customer-centric mindset with a strong commitment to delivering quality services.
