:Position Title: Regional Training and Administration ManagerLocation: SingaporeYour roleThe APAC Training Operations Program Manager is responsible for assisting in the planning, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of scalable training and development programs within Operations of the APAC region and the APAC Regional Training team. This role focuses on ensuring that employees across the APAC region possess the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their roles, with a specific emphasis on technical capabilities, compliance, and organizational alignment. The Program Manager collaborates closely with the global operations training team, other regional training teams, HR, Operations, and subject matter experts to assist in the global and regional design and delivery of effective training solutions tailored to meet the diverse needs of the organization.What you\'ll do

  • Training Needs Analysis:
  • Collaborate with departmental managers, HR, and regional/sub-regional/local operations to identify training needs and skill gaps.
  • Conduct surveys, interviews, and assessments to gather information on training requirements.
  • Analyze current and future training needs and identify skills or knowledge gaps that need to be addressed.
  • Training Program Development:
  • Partner with the global and regional training teams in the design and development of comprehensive training programs and materials, including manuals, online modules, videos, and more, tailored to both technical and non-technical roles.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure the relevance and effectiveness of training content.
  • Partner with the global and regional training teams to customize training programs where appropriate to meet the specific needs of different roles within the organization.
  • Training Coordination and Delivery:
  • Schedule and coordinate training sessions, workshops, and seminars, managing logistics and registrations.
  • Facilitate training sessions, both in-person and online, ensuring a conducive learning environment.
  • Manage the effective utilization of internal and external training resources.
  • Deliver training programs as needed and ensure alignment with key training principles and organizational goals.
  • Training Documentation and Evaluation:
  • Maintain accurate records of training attendance, feedback, and completion certificates.
  • Generate and analyze training reports to track progress and provide insights to management.
  • Conduct post-training assessments and gather feedback to continuously improve future training programs.
  • Evaluate and improve existing training programs by identifying gaps and making necessary adjustments.
  • Digital University Administration:
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of Digital University, including end-user support and compliance management.
  • Track, monitor, and report on training programs, completions, certifications, and end-of-course evaluations.
  • Ensure content is regularly updated and inactivate irrelevant material.
  • Technical Expertise and Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to ensure training programs remain current and effective.
  • Identify opportunities to improve training processes and materials and collaborate with the global and regional training teams to develop solutions.
  • Engage with the data center and training communities to stay informed about best practices and innovations.
  • New Hire and Traineeship Programs:
  • Partner with the global and regional training teams in the planning, formulation, and implementation of traineeship, apprenticeship, and new hire training programs.
  • Promote awareness and understanding of training opportunities among employees and provide necessary information about available programs.

What you\'ll need
  • Education: Engineering qualification, preferably electrical.
  • Experience: Minimum of five years in Learning & Development, with significant experience in technical roles related to data center operations.
  • Skills:
  • Strong project management, communication, and instructional skills.
  • Proficiency in data center technologies and infrastructure management.
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and training software (preferred).
  • Ability to align training initiatives with organizational goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Certifications: Certified Data Center Professional (CDCP) or equivalent (preferred).
  • Ability to travel as required to various data center locations.
  • High proficiency in English and one other APAC language (based on location).
