Position Overview

This role is responsible for individual result and assigned project delivery, with scope of influence in direct impact within Quality & Regulatory Affairs function and extended impact to relevant multifunctional teams in business across APZ Consumer Business Unit. This is an individual contributor role and will focus on:

  • driving regulatory inputs in ISEA NPD growth projects;
  • Responsible for review, approval and issuance of Regulatory Documentation and Artwork.
  • Supports Regulatory Compliance review and other Regulatory initiatives to ensure compliance with food and relevant regulations for APZ Consumer business and Regulatory Governance.
Key Responsibilities

With guidance from ISEA and Regulatory Managers , responsible for following regulatory activities delivery within aligned Regulatory Service Level Agreement for ISEA Consumer Business:
  • Support Consumer NPD projects
  • Responsible for Review, Approval and Issuance of Regulatory Documentation and Specification
  • Responsible for Review and Approval of Artwork (New and Renovation) in accordance to relevant Country Regulations and McCormick policy if applicable.
  • Responsible for Review and Approval of Raw Material and Formulation in accordance to relevant Country Regulations, Customer Requirements and McCormick policy, if applicable.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help drive regulatory initiatives.
  • Assist with product registration as needed.
  • Support Regulatory Projects as assigned.
With the guidance of the Australian Regulatory Manager, Assist in Australia Consumer NPD projects:

Responsible for following regulatory activities delivery within aligned Regulatory Service Level Agreement for Australia Consumer Business:
  • Responsible for Review, Approval and Issuance of Regulatory Documentation and Specification
  • Responsible for Review and Approval of Artwork Brief (New and Renovation) in accordance to relevant Country Regulations and McCormick policy if applicable.
  • Responsible for Review and Approval of Raw Material and Formulation in accordance to relevant Country Regulations, Customer Requirements and McCormick policy if applicable.
  • Develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders to help drive Regulatory Initiatives
  • Support Regulatory Projects as assigned.
Requied Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Food Science or related fields
  • At least 3 years of Regulatory Affairs experience, preferably within Food, Beverage or Related industry.
  • Knowledge of Asia Pacific Food Regulations and Product Registration Processes.
  • Familiarity with Halal, Organic and other certification requirements would be desirable.
Interpersonal Skills
  • Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skill in English. Competency in one or more Asian language(s) would be desirable.
  • Interaction with Regional regulatory team, multifunction stakeholders across region on weekly basis and global regulatory team on need-based basis. May interacts with customer on need-based basis too.
  • Ability to interpret and understand complex food regulations and communicate in easy to understand manner to relevant stakeholders.
