Regulatory Manager, Flavour APZ

Reporting directly to Senior Quality Manager \xe2\x80\x93 APZ Flavour with dotted line to APZ Regulatory Director

This role is responsible for overseeing food regulatory compliance of McCormick Flavour products including trading goods in APZ business unit, to all relevant regulations, industry/customer requirements and McCormick policies. Also, supports business by providing regulatory expertise and risk management to ensure compliance, enable business growth opportunities and unblock potential trade barriers

APZ Regional Regulatory Business Partner

Partner with Quality, Commercial, Product development, ITC, Operational QA and Supplier Quality to ensure regulatory compliance of McCormick flavour products to all relevant food regulations, customer requirements and McCormick standards as well as collaborate with other regulatory teams in APZ.

Regulatory compliance of Flavour products

• Responsible for all regulatory compliance review including necessary regulatory product registration and the creation and issuance of regulatory documents in accordance to aligned service level agreement (SLA) .

APZ Flavour & Food Regulatory Landscape Monitoring Program

• Monitor APZ flavour regulatory landscape on emerging regulatory policies and regulation trend related to APZ flavour business and strategic priorities, along with other team members in regional regulatory team.
• Contribute to impact and opportunities analyses on monitoring output.
• Communicate analysis outcome to Stakeholders including regulatory recommendations and/or followed-up actions timely.
• When required, coordinate with internal McCormick stakeholders\xe2\x80\x99 feedback regarding emerging regulatory policies that may impact APZ Flavour business and strategic priorities.

Regulatory Excellence in Flavor

• Support APZ Regulatory Director in developing and implementing regional regulatory framework and program for flavours in APZ.
• Implement and lead global and regional scientific and regulatory affairs\xe2\x80\x99s improvement initiatives and policies.
• Drive Regulatory Governance Program for APZ Flavour products

Supports any quality and regulatory program related to Flavour and trading goods

Required Qualifications:

Level of Education and Discipline

Bachelor\'s Degree in food science/food technology or related field.

Certifications and/or Licenses

BRC, GMP, HACCP, CICOT Halal, MUI Halal

• Min. 7 years in Regulatory and Quality function, preferable from flavour industry.
• Sound knowledge of Asia Flavour Regulations.
• Familiar with Product Registration Process in South East Asia.
• Working experience with Authority and/or Trade Association.

• Strong Communication Skill Written and Verbal.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-Solving Skill.
• Ability to exert positive influence.
• Strong stakeholder management.

• Ability to analyze, interpret and understand complex food regulations and communicate in easytounderstand manner to stakeholders.
• Good prioritization skill.
• Understanding of business requirements and needs while ensuring compliance.
