This role will manage renewable generation assets in APAC, ensuring the generation of maximum profitability for EDPR defining and managing the budgets, in accordance with the organisation\'s strategy, to meet its billing, availability, EBITDA and sustainability objectives.

Responsibilities

  • With the support of locally based colleagues, guarantee the control and technical-economic management of the assets according to the internal requirements of the organization. Guarantee that all legal obligations applicable to each company and/or asset are always complied with (inspections by various agencies, payment of fees and taxes, etc.) always ensuring compliance with current regulations in the sector. Implement all efficiency measures that ensure the most efficient operation
  • With the support of locally based colleagues, guarantee compliance with the OPEX budget. Ensure that the O&M guidelines ensure the maximum performance of the facilities in order to optimize production and guarantee high efficiency parameters throughout their useful life. Participate in the negotiation of the O&M contracts of the plants and ensure their compliance throughout the entire period of validity. Ensure that the legislation regarding the functioning and operation of the facilities is complied with. Ensure seamless operations of the plants in compliance with grid codes and market rules.
  • STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT (external and internal). Coordinate and control the relationship with the Stakeholders so that the decisions made are aligned with the objectives of the EDPR group. Foster relationships of trust with all the agents involved in the business process (internal and external) with the aim of promoting teamwork, achieving solid work groups to establish this model as one of the pillars of company management. Exercise capacity for negotiation and conflict resolution in all areas of action.
  • BUSINESS PLAN AND BUDGETS. Work on achieving the expected energy availability of the managed assets. Prepare the necessary information for the definition and update of the budgets of the assets, as well as being responsible for their compliance and the optimal management of their variations. Verify that the investments made meet the expectations.
  • Support the Head of Asset Operations APAC in all types of asset purchase or sale processes during development and construction phases.
  • Support in various projects related to Asset Operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor\'s Degree of Engineering or equivalent
  • 5 years relevant experience in large scale solar PV and Wind, cost-benefit analysis, maintenance techniques, analysis of profitability of investment, energy market regulator and monitoring operational and economical parameters
  • Preferably with relevant operation and maintenance/asset management experience in the region, either with established developers, contractors in renewables or renewables asset managers
